Nick & Lindsey walked out of the Ladies washroom hand in hand. Mich pretended to gag. When Nick saw who it was waiting for him, a look of shock came to his face.
"What are you doing here?" Nick exclaimed to his group member, and friend, Jeff. Jeff smiled knowingly at Nick.
"I have a better question. Why were YOU in the ladies?" Nick flushed visibly.
"Like you've never been in the women's washroom," Nick exclaimed, stealing one of Mich's lines. Mich was about to protest when Jeff began to talk again.
"Yeah," Jeff exclaimed, scrunching his face. "When I was two and wasn't allowed to go to the washroom ALONE." This struck Mich as funny, mostly because Jeff had screwed Nick up over a line she had used on Nick to screw him up in the first place. Nick's embarrassment grew even more apparent.
"So, what are you doing here?" Nick repeated.
"I didn't know why you were staying, Drew wouldn't tell me, so I thought you might need some company, and I stayed," Jeff informed him.
"What if I had gone already?" Nick questioned.
"I had the car staked out for half an hour. Some old lady came out talking about someone being demon possessed or something over near the bathrooms. So, considering the mood you've been in for the past hour or so, I figured it had to be you. I had NO idea that......"
"It ain't what you think," Nick began. "She bit me." Lindsey blushed, knowing how it must sound, especially when Mich's eyebrows raised. "My HAND, she bit my hand when I tried to keep her from screaming." Jeff stifled a laugh. "Let's just take these girls home, Okay?" Nick grabbed Lindsey's hand and pulled her toward the parking lot. In the parking lot, Nick stopped and opened the passenger side door for Lindsey. She looked uncomfortable for a moment, then backed away from the door. She looked at Jeff.
"You sit there," Lindsey told him. "I'll sit with Mich." Nick looked at her, apparently hurt by this. "Don't look at me like that!" Lindsey said, getting a little angry. "I hate the puppy dog face."
"I want you to sit up front with me," Nick informed her. Lindsey glanced back to Mich, who gave her a slight shake of the head.
"I think I should sit in the back with Mich," Lindsey told him. He stepped in between Mich and Lindsey.
"Well I don't think you should."
"Are you threatening me?" Lindsey asked.
"Should I be?"
"Hello, I have to work at 5 in the morning!!" Mich called, as if anybody could forget.
"You know what?" Nick exclaimed. "If you don't shut that fuckin mouth of yours, you'll end up fuckin walking home. You got that, bitch? Fuck! NOW WHAT??" Nick called as he watched Lindsey turn and walk away.
"I fuckin walkin home, that's what!" Lindsey screamed back. Nick glared at Mich.
"You goddammed bitch, this is your fault." Mich looked at him with a smirk before cackling and sticking her tongue out at him. "Lindsey get back in the car," Nick called, defeat evident in his voice. "You can sit in the back with Mich." Lindsey ran back, a smile on her face.
"Thank you," she said, before kissing him on the cheek and sliding into the seat behind him. "You're the best." Nick rolled his eyes and got in the driver's seat. This was cirtain to be an interesting relationship.
